This part of the methodology examines the six structural areas that, when underdeveloped, keep a business dependent on its founder's direct involvement regardless of how capable the surrounding team is.

Business Flow
Flow is the state where a founder / leader, their business, and their life operate in a sustainable rhythm - where clarity, strategy, wellbeing, and strong foundations work together to create momentum, profitability, creativity, and ease.
It is a state in which the business no longer relies on constant pressure, hustle, or firefighting. Instead, it runs with structure, intention, and energy that supports both performance and personal wellbeing.
The framework was developed from direct experience - building and scaling businesses, making the structural mistakes that are common at this stage, and learning what how to shift the levers for actual change. It is not adapted from academic research or a standard consulting methodology.

Sarah Poole built her first significant business in her late-twenties, a sixty-staff, six-office operation that she was central to scaling nationally before selling.
What she didn't have at the time was any real female model for how to lead a business at that scale, or any understanding of the structural changes that would have made the whole thing considerably less hard. She learned those things the way most founders do: by getting them wrong first.
The Business Flow Framework was built from everything that followed - two decades of building further businesses, coaching hundreds of founders, and developing a clear-eyed understanding of where founder-led businesses get stuck and why.
What she has consistently observed is that the obstacles at this stage are structural and leadership-based. They are not fixed by working harder, thinking differently, or finding better tools. They are fixed by changing the architecture of how the business is led and how it operates.
Sarah works with a small number of founders at any given time. The work is specific, substantive, and designed for women who are genuinely ready to examine how their business operates - and their own role in that.
